ReplyDeleteoops - favorite cleaning tip
ReplyDeletejust do it - the procrastination takes up way more time than just getting the job done!
My favorite cleaning tip-turn on my favorite music to motivate me to clean!
ReplyDeleteIf you can't wash dishes right away, fill a small tub (or the sink) with warm soapy water and let them soak until you can get them done.
ReplyDeleteFavorite cleaning tip -- throw your sink protectors into a light dishwasher load so they get sanitized without you having to scrub them.
ReplyDeleteFavorite cleaning tip is to use baking soda to remove stains on the counter tops.
ReplyDeleteI need cleaning tips, but don't have a lot to give... Great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI also clean to music, but making a list and being able to check off things is very motivating for me.
ReplyDeleteInvest in a quality feather duster-even the kids love them. No dusting spray needed.
ReplyDeleteMake your own carpet powder. Use an old Parmesan cheese container fill with a cup of borax, cup of baking soda and then add either some orange essential oil or nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves. Sprinkle on carpets, let sit and vacuum. Leaves the house smelling terrific.
ReplyDeleteFave cleaning tip.....it doesn't have to be perfect. Just done is ok sometimes!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite cleaning tip is to clean a little every day and that makes sure you never have a BIG mess!!!
ReplyDeleteI would also like to say THANK YOU for allowing someone to win this book. I appreciate that kindness that you used by being blessed twice!
Dry-dust your bathroom counters before you scrub them - it will get rid of the lint and hairs that always seem to stick once the counters are wet.
ReplyDeleteMaybe just doing a little everyday so that the list isn't insurmountable. Also, I like to use white vinegar and water to spray mist on my wood floors for mopping.
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog! Great to be here, and this book looks like something we definately need!!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Jess
My favorite cleaning tip is to use Magic Erasers. I love them! They really work even though I was hesitant at first. We use them to remove marks on walls, sinks, tubs, door jams, etc. This looks like a great book - would love to own it. Thank you for posting it.
ReplyDeleteThe best way to get my kids to pick up/clean is to make a list, set the timer & we all get as much done as possible in our allotted time.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite cleaning tip is to get the kiddos involved in something they can do to let them know that it's important for them to do their chores & be involved.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite cleaning tip is to let the kids "mop" the floor in damp socks. Otherwise known as Kitchen Skating!
ReplyDeleteVinegar is a great natural all-purpose cleaner. I use it in the washing machine as fabric softener, too! Gets rid of that hard water scum.
ReplyDeleteI keep my citrus peels: orange, lemon and lime, in a glass jar with vinegar. After two to three weeks I have a great natural cleaning concentrate. I put a small amount of the concentrate in a spray bottle with distilled water and that's what we clean the table with after meals.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting a great giveaway.
Blessings,
