Spreading the Love in February

Welcome back!  Last week we decided in the middle of all the YUCK in the world these days and to combat the amount of it being spewed on Facebook, that we would try to do something radical- spread the love to others.  Our first Bible giveaway winner was Cheryl C- we pray she and her family will enjoy The Beginner's Bible for years to come!

We are ready to bless someone else with another Bible this week!  This time we have The ESV Family Devotional Bible!  We had the privilege of reviewing this Bible recently and love the format!

If you do not have a regular family time with your kiddos, or are just not sure how to start, this Bible can help you with questions to get you talking about what you have read.

Fill out the rafflecopter below for your chance to win!  A random winner will be chosen next Wednesday!

  1. We usually only do devotionals during Advent, but this year we have a plan for Lent too.

I do daily Bible readings on school days with Lauren, and I think this Bible would be a welcome change from the one we've used for the past three years or so. She and I both need the comprehension questions to keep her focused on what I'm reading.

  2. I never can pick a favorite book of the Bible, but I'll say Ephesians today. :)

  3. We try to have daily devotions, but I admit sometimes we fall short on that. My favorite book of the Bible is Psalms.

  4. Michele, I have had my eye on this devotional Bible for awhile now! :) We have been doing family devotions for about 7 years now and that time spent with the Lord as a family is so precious! Some weeks are more involved than others, but I have come to treasure these times to refocus on God and His Word as a family.

Lately, the Lord has been directing me to the Psalms. It is hard to pick a favorite book, but that would be it for me right now. Ask me next week and it will probably be different, haha! :)

  5. We haven't found a devotional that we thought suited our entire family, but this one looks like a great fit!

  6. My favorite book of the bible is Psalms - as a teenager and young adult I wrote a lot of songs and the Psalms was so inspirational and uplifting to me.

  7. Thank you - sharing in frugal family group!

  8. Would love to share this with my daughter and her young family (3 years old and 4 months), so they can do family devotions <3
