About Me

Hi!  I'm Michele! (That's me on the far right!) The face behind the posts.  About me...hmmmmmmmmm, where do I start?

I am a military wife (retired but still caliming it!) to a most amazing husband.  We have known each other since 8th grade, been married over 26 years and spent our time together raising four kids while traveling all over the states.  It's been a crazy time, but a happy time.

This is an OLD picture of us!

We homeschool our two youngest, age 13, and are sending our 18 year old off to college next month.   Our 22 year old daughter just graduated with a BFA in Musical Theater and is about to begin her acting career and our oldest graduated from college a few years ago and now works full time and runs her own quilting business on the side.  If you would have asked me about homeschooling 23 years ago, I would have rolled my eyes at you.  Now if you ask me, I am likely to talk non stop until you die from boredom or just walk away!  I love it THAT much!

And that is why I started this blog.  To be able to have the opportunity to review homeschool and family related products for multiple companies and share what I learn with you.  Since then, the blog has taken on a life of its own, evolved a little and provided an opportunity for me to ramble about my life and the things that I love.  So that's what you will find here...

A little of this and that...

Reviews,
Homeschooling
Kids,
Adoption,
Marriage,
Faith,
Modesty,
Cooking,
Recipes,
Saving Money,
Organizing, and
LIFE!

I even wrote a post about Who Am I? so you would know what you are in for! ;)

I hope you will stick around for the fun and find some blessings in between the words!

Blessings,
Michele

  1. Hi! I agree that if you would have said I'd be a homeschooling mom a few years ago, I'd have thought you were crazy! Now I feel passionately about it and love to talk about it! You have a lovely family!

  2. So glad to have finally found your site. It is nice to put a face to the name. I never thought or imagined I would be homeschooling our children myself. The more I read from long-time homeschoolers like yourself the more I am encouraged to continue with our journey. Thank you so much for sharing your journeys with the rest of us. Blessings, Mary (stopping by from the Crew)

    1. Mary, glad you found me too! One of my favorite things to do is mentor newbies! I may not have all the answers, but I DO have opinions! haha Willing to help look for answers you need as well. Looking forward to getting to know you

  3. I have a cousin who works for The Old Schoolhouse magazine; she started the "drama department" (her name is Rachel Rogish). Small world!
