It was incredibly difficult to find foods without red dye in it -- hotdogs, juices, pizza sauce -- things you never expect to have additional dye, do! Ugh! Anyways, the other dye to check off the list is also yellow. Some children do react to yellow just as strongly as the red.Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08397762196878497022noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4586517810252297119.post-32855215581823134522012-07-18T19:11:59.316-07:002012-07-18T19:11:59.316-07:00Thanks Marcia! It's important to know that red isn't the only color you should avoid. All the artificial dyes (synthetic is the more appropriate word) are made from petroleum. So if you see a problem with red, you also will with the other 6. My family learned this when our son was your son's age so we began the Feingold diet (named after the dr who popularized this theory)and then joined the Feingold Association when parents organized it. Look into it and I bet your son's behavior will improve even more.Marciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17083356313057106395noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4586517810252297119.post-62604231603180694552012-07-18T13:45:39.130-07:002012-07-18T13:45:39.130-07:00Glad you enjoyed the post.
